MAKING A CALENDAR

Material

-         One spiral

-         Seven sheets of thick A-3 paper

-         a computer

-         a camera

-         twelve photos or pictures

-         a colour printer

-         software: Publisher

-         a binder

-         a pair of plairs

-         10 cm of string

Procedure

     1.     First we thought which pictures we would need, one per month.

2.     Using drawing pins, we have marked, on the entrance map, the different places where we are going to take photos. 

    3.     Looking at the map, we marked the easiest and shortest way.

4.     Using a red string we followed the route and we put numbers at the places where we went to take photos next.

5.     We did the same on a A3 map.

    6.     We went to take photos with a camera

7.     We chose the best pictures.

8.     We switched on the computer, opened Publisher and working in pairs we designed the pages month by month. We studied the days and months in Catalan, Spanish, English and Portuguese.

 9.     We printed a sample and we corrected the errors.

 10. We printed the copy.This is the Catalan version.

                             

    11.                       We bind the calendar using a spiral.

    12.                       We put a hanger using string.

    13.                       We prepared different problems to solve our classmates using this grid.
